My pin is 6 char not 10 char. What is 10char?

I’m really nervous. When I try to log in it says that my access code or last name is incorrect. So I clicked to have the access code sent to my email, and it said it was sent. But I haven’t received anything yet. SO, I tried a second time, and said “cannot process request because your email is a duplicate”. So I casually click on the link below it which says “Return to Admissions Services”. When I click on that I see this:

Admissions Applicant Services
Welcome to Harvard Admissions Accepted Applicant Services. Using this secure site you can respond to your offer of admission to Harvard College.

Login: To Access Admission Reply Card Form

To access the online reply form you must know your Admissions ACCESS CODE.

Retrieve your Admissions ACCESS CODE?
If you have forgotten or have not retrieved your Admissions ACCESS CODE, click here to have it sent to your email address on record.

Notice - Server Maintenance
Daily from 4:30 am - 5:00 am EDT this page may be unavailable due to scheduled server maintenance.

–So, I’m really nervous. Can someone try what I did, and see if they get the same result?

The exact same thing happened to me. My friends that got rejected cannot get their access codes because it says they no longer have access to the Applicant Status Page.

But when we typed our e-mails in, it said that they’ll send it to us.

confused Waitlisted, maybe? (And hopefully :p)

Even if you are not able to access there is a posibilty that you are on the waiting list… I hope that I am on the waiting list because I am unable to log in :)

If PW recovery works, it looks like that means wait list if you cannot login in afterwords. Otherwise it’s probably rejection.

I recovered my PIN (which seemed positive) but I still can’t login… Also my PIN is only 6 characters, not 10… Can someone shed some light on what this means?

10char is the minimum number of characters to post in a forum.

usually used so the post in the forum does not get deleted by a forum moderator,
it has nothing to do with harvard or college admissions at all whatsoever.

so if you got in then you are going to be able to log in to the admissions portal and see the congratulations video?
