Advanced Placement's

Hey Guy's , I'm dealing with a problem. My school offers AP classes which Im planning to take + the grade and course title goes on my transcript which looks good. But my shcool doesnt offer AP Gov't soo i want to self-study and im confident I will do really good, but I was thinking , how will the colleges know about those self-studied courses nd my achievements in them , How will I profit besides college credit? When do they see my AP test score? ..etc
PLEASE HELP!

The AP tests are only given once a year, in early May. The results come back around 6 to 8 weeks later, if I remember correctly. Therefore, only sophomore and junior year AP test results will be seen by colleges for admissions. On the common appl form, they are self-reported.

Maybe your school would be willing to put your independent program for the government AP test on your transcript, particularly if a teacher is willing to provide some guidance. You might also look at online courses, particularly from a public college in your state.

You put it on your application somewhere. There are places, do not worry. And they will consider it. No need to take it from an online class, unless you want to.

Thanks guys: @Charlieschm I live in NY do you know of any online programs or other programs?
