<p>I talked to BC admissions last week to get the whole AP credit thing clarified. They said that if you have a combinaiton of at least 24 credits from AP tests and/or college classes taken while in high school (that don’t count towards high school graduation), you can get one year (no more, no less) waived. BUT…they said students tend to enjoy it there so much that few actually request this sort of advanced standing. In other words, when given a chance to finish in 3 years instead of 4, few people choose 3 years. Do the students there really tend to be so wealthy that they can afford a 4th year even if they don’t need to take it?</p>
<p>Yes, my son had 31 credits, but went 4 years. The placement allowed him to have 2 majors and a minor. (And no, I am not rich)</p>
