Advantage in Sending Both?

I sat down today to send my scores to my colleges, and I got to wondering: If I have pretty solid scores in both the SAT (720/730/800 CR/W/M) and the ACT (35), is there any advantage in sending both of these scores to my colleges, or should I just save my money and only send one set of scores?

Two of the universities that I'm applying to predominantly use ACTs and aren't all that selective, so I'm not going to bother sending my SATs to those. However, the rest of my schools are "coast" schools, so they'll definitely get my SATs, but should I bother with the ACTs?

I'd send both. Even schools that receive more SATs are familiar with the ACT. Congratulations on your scores.

The advantage to sending both is that they'll use their conversion chart to determine your highest score (which I would say is your ACT) and use that for your app. Both scores are great so it couldn't hurt at all. Shows you're capable across both tests, that neither score was a fluke.

^i agree. they'll most likely just be impressed with your ACT alone, and then they see another whopping SAT ahah niice.

good job :)
