I was wondering if there were any advantages to turning in my application early? Will my application be given more time for review than apps turned in around the deadline?

Nope. You might get a higher likelihood of an interview, however.
No there is no advantage. Better to take it to the deadline if it enables you to have a submission you feel better about.The point being the quality of your application is more important than having it arrive earlier.

There is one advantage, if you are satisfied with the quality then once you turn it in, it is off your “to do” list. You can enjoy other things.
