Just thought Id ask for some opinions about whether I should bother applying early or rolling to schools or wait for RD to allow my senior year academics to be weighted. My testing is excellent (2300+, 5 SAT2s including 3 800s), my ECs are more mediocre (nothing special but some random crap like science team, piano and tennis which I could make look bigger than they are), and what Im more worried about is my academic record. Freshman year I didnt really do anything (I mean mostly Cs and a couple D+s not Bs lol) and as such didnt have a very rigorous schedule soph year (though the grades were fine), junior year took 4 honors and got all A-/A, now in all APs which Im hoping should help me since I can get As in all of them no problem. Basically Im asking if I should wait for January for my senior grades since they should show a decent upward trend or just apply now and hope that Ill get at least deferred given recs/junior grades/current classload. Also dont know if I should apply now or later for rolling.

Looking at schools like UIUC, Purdue, Case Western, RHIT, my reach would be CMU (looking at our school history of GPA/SAT I might even make it going on that...)
