Advice called for

I have an SAT score of 1320 - not really good enough for Yale/Harvard, which is where I'm applying to. It divides into 790 verbal, 530 maths.

I've not taken maths for two years, but I do have GCSES and AS levels, and predicted A levels. It's going to be clear from my transcript that I'm taking all Arts subjects, Classics, Latin, History and English.

I had -no time- to revise maths for the SAT. Are the unis going to be lenient on that front, or just dismiss me out of hand?

To be honest, you should be looking at schools below Harvard and Yale. It's much harder for an international to get in and at those schools Americans with 1600 are often turned down.

Okay, thanks. I'm only applying to those because of the academic standard, and the financial aid offered. I'm really aiming for Cambridge.
