Anyways any advice? Feedback?

Oops I forgot to put that I received 3 Blue Ribbons from the UDA Dance Association

Janey,

I’m really confused on your IB credit thing. Are you in an IB program?
Other than that, you have to realize that the schools you listed are very, very competitive. In order to ‘wow’ them you are going to have to do something brilliant while maintaining a very rigorous course load with a good GPA at the same time. From what you have posted, it is going to be difficult for you to convince them that you are “Cornell (or whatever school) material” based on the regular classes you took. However, to your defense, you have stepped it up from pretty much all regular classes to quite a few AP classes; that shows progress which is good! Your GPA is very good, but I’m curious is to that if it’s weighted or un-weighted? Make sure you STUDY for you SAT tests because those could be a make-or-break for you in this situation. Your extracurricular activities are pretty good. I would recommend you try some more clubs that are about what you want to do later on in life. Also, Ivy Leagues like to see that you can juggle several things at once. Have you thought about getting a job?
All in all, I have seen kids get in with 4.0 and no extracurricular activites and vice versa. I wish you the best of luck!

Have you taken any practice tests for the SAT?

If you get a decent score, you’ll be in at NYU.

Thank you
And no I’m in the IB Certificate where your not in the IB diploma but you get in some IB classes and still receive the credits.
My weighted gpa is 4.45
And I see what you mean but Dance Team takes most of my time since we have multiple performances and practices added with my hw, I never go to sleep at night.
And about getting a job, I was thinking about getting one in the summer but thank you so much for your advice
