I've enrolled in MCS for the fall and I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice with going on the pre-medical track, such as: which courses should I take/avoid freshman year, how to balance my course load, quality of the advising, etc. I also plan on taking a few courses in CS, so I do plan on taking 15 112 instead of 110.

Thanks for any and all advice!

cmu does have a health professionals program: [Health Professions Program](CMU - Health Professions Program - Carnegie Mellon University)

also, i happen to have read about this post http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/carnegie-mellon-university/73850-cmu-pre-med.html. Some of the replies seem really helpful. but personally i’m not taking science classes any more so i can’t say much about it. i can say for sure however that 15112 is gonna be intensive and time-consuming…
