So I am currently a Political Science and German double major at my university. However, I admit that I do not have a passion for my German major, and I rushed into selecting it as my major.
Thus, I have been considering switching to a Political Science and Religion double major so that I can study to politics of religious groups and movements. This is a topic that interests me, and I have already spoken with the professors in the religion department about my ideas. I am struggling, however, with figuring out how to tell my current German advisor. My advisor and I are very close, and I feel awful switching majors after already going on a Berlin study abroad with my fellow German majors. I know that German is not the best major for me, but I am unsure how to get over the nerves around switching. Any advice?
Thank you!
