Hey all,

I just got my SAT scores back. It was my first time writing it with 1 week preparation..yeah, I was trying to self study AP Chem in 2 weeks like a retard (did not help with Calc BC review either -_- but thankfully I'm just a sophomore and I can retake/write the exams next year).

Anyways, I got 2190 (I wrote the international SAT):

CR- 760. This sort of puzzled me because I felt pretty good about all the sentence completions- had memorized DH volumes 1 and 2 and I'm usually pretty solid with reading comprehension too, so it might've just been a few mistakes with a tough curve.

Math- 740. Again, I felt solid on my answers, but I probably made a few dumb mistakes. I left one geometry question (last question) blank because I did geo a long time ago and don't remember all of it.

Writing- 690 D: :(. The essay I thought was okay- some more sentences that connected my examples more to my thesis could've helped. I wrote the full two pages though and used Andre Agassi and Gandhi in South Africa for examples, so I'm guessing it was all right. I didn't get my score for it yet, so I can't be sure.
The first section of MC went well, IMO. I finished in time and checked over my work. The 10 minute section though is where I think I messed up. Sentence fixing usually takes me the longest, so I need to improve on that.

Seeing that there are so many SAT pros on this forum, I was just wondering- if there are any study techniques/methods that you know of that could help me improve to a 2350+?

I think I'll take it again in October, so that gives me around 3.5 months to study (not counting finals).

Any advice/thoughts would be very much appreciated! :D Thanks for everything, you guys are awesome!

PS. Congrats to everyone here that took the SAT. Regardless of the scores, you guys are all motivated individuals that will doubtless go far in your lives.
