Hello everyone, long time no talk (back to AP testing last year... oh what a ride).

I'm off to a new place this year, and my big ol XPS 420 won't be coming along in a full capacity.

I've been narrowing it down for a while now, and I've been looking for a 13-15" laptop with decent dedicated graphics(not a gaming rig... the occasional game but not the purpose built clunkers please) with a screen better than 768p and a form factor of ~<1". A backlit keyboard would also be nice.

I think I've narrowed the choice down to a Samsung Series 7 S04 variant off of Microsoft's website, or a Sony S Series from their website. The 7 comes with a 360... not like I need one. The S Series has 10% off from the sale and I may potentially be able to game them out of a $150 gift card (I couldn't find an exclusion clause and the laptop qualifies).

So far I'm leaning towards the S Series. I've been so deep in this for what seems like a week I want to make sure I'm not missing any obvious choices, and I want to confirm that the S Series build quality is satisfactory.

Thank you very much, hopefully it's just a google search away.

P.S. I've also looked at the Dell XPS 14" and the ASUS 32VD which is never in stock. The Dell is just too expensive to customize and the 32VD seems a bit much given the older chipset.
