Hi, I’m having some trouble deciding which college to go to and I was hopin someone can give me some advice or more information on it. I’m currently deciding between Macaulay Honors at College of Staten Island or New York University Tandon School of Engineering. My financial aid award for NYU is pretty good where I would end up paying somewhat less than $10,000 a year. I’m going to be studying electrical engineering, but I may change my major (I think I might stay in engineering). I have to maintain a 3.5 GPA to be in Macaulay Honors and I don’t know if I can’t do that in college and with the rigorous work. Also, I’ve been told that NYU looks more impressive/better than Macaulay Honors/CSI when applying for jobs and such. Even though NYU Tandon is and engineering school, I don’t know how good it actually is. Same goes for CSI, I don’t know if it is that good of a school for engineering. I tried to research things to see if I can find answers to my questions, for example, I searched for what majors each school is known for but none of them say engineering (I searched NYU not NYU Tandon). I don’t know, I’m really stressed out, but if anybody can help me out I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much!
