Advice on Self-Study

Hi, I'm an upcoming sophomore and I will be taking Calculus BC in school. Alongside this, I also want to self-study AP Physics C, AP Computer Science A, and AP Biology (although I may skip this one). Can you please give me any general advice on self-studying for AP's or resources for the subjects listed? Also, how much time do you think I will need to spend for each? Thank you, I appreciate it.

First of all, START EARLY. I decided to self-study two APs starting two months before the actual tests, and while my energy for studying came and went in bursts, it would’ve helped immensely to have started just a couple of months earlier.

AP Physics C will likely be difficult to self-study, but who knows.

UM, well, I don’t think you should self-study Physics C and CompSci as a sophomore… They are two of the harder AP tests. (Trust me, I took 21 of them).

I have information on them on my website, which you can take a look at under AP Information, however, I would strongly suggest taking one of the “easier” AP self-studies sophomore year and waiting until junior year to to Physics C and CompSci, otherwise, just do a lot of practice.

I would recommend doing all of the questions from years past for Physics C, and just doing a lot of coding and practicing for CompSci.

Good Luck to you!

yes, you are correct
