i was also wearing the wrong size shoe, i was wearing a 10.5 when i was actually a 9.5 oddly enough, i like my new shoes they are my older shoes were a rebok with black and white in think

thats cool i like your version better then his version, for he was acting as if the captains were dictators and i think that we are all competitors and shouldnt put one ahead of another, and i think even if your as slow as me you should atleast not be thought as a disadvantage

but it is thundering you dont like running in thunder cause if you do that is kinda odd i would think

Haha, man, if our main captain heard that...he was literally the nicest guy on the team. He mades us want to work hard because he was sooo good and we all want to be good. He hosted a pre-race dinner at his house to get us all psyched up for championships (pizza and pasta in his house--we also watched Caddyshack). He was the first to praise me on getting my PR in a race (and then he proceeded to shatter the course record). The captains would always be cheering us along while they warmed up on the edges of course (varsity always ran after JV).

But isn't that what competition is--trying to do better than someone else?

haha yeah ideal for me is a light drizzle, thundering is no good

if you're going to do this, make sure you have really good running shoes in the right size and everything. you should probably go to a store that specializes in running. having incorrect shoes for your foot type is like asking to get shin splints

^and blisters. But shin splints are the devil.

somebody first of all pizza and pasta arent good together, i much prefer something like pizza and chips and chocolate and it sounds as if you are unable to understand equality and i think that i could very well try my best, but i am not intended to listen to one another pier of mine tell me what to do, for thats the coachs job and i think that unwritten seemingly has a better team then yours and it sounds like he can beat you in a running match, and i may not be a runner right now but i ll try my best to become one, im not going to give up

i hate shoes so much, i did go to a store and this time i finally got the right size shoes so it seems my whole middle school career i have been wearing shoes that were to big for me and shoes that i had no idea were soccer shoes, cause thats what the person at the store had said about my old shoes

1 Pizza + pasta is delicious. And shame on you for thinking otherwise.

2 Equality? When the best senior runner on the team (and in the state) tells you (a freshman) to do something, tell me you're not going to listen to him.

3 I'm not on a team anymore...but we had the best team in the state.

4 He probably can beat me in a race because I literally haven't run since track championships. (Though I'm going to change that, I promise!)

5 I never said to give up...I just said to work hard.

hahaha wow.
first of all im a girl

you sound liek a better runner

ive had some girls in my gym class who could run really fast especially my lab partner in earth science and in cross country dont boys and girls run together

^No, they're in separate races.

Ok, then maybe you can't beat me...unless you're like your team's #1, then it'd be close (at least for a 5k--sprinting would be another matter).

no, boys and girls run seperately except in a few JV races i think they run together but awards and places and w/e are still done seperately

yeah you probably can beat me im not very good lol i go like 22:30 on a hilly course
i suck at sprinting. which is odd because in swimming im totally a sprinter. very odd.

how come in 8th grade in gym the girls and boys ran together?

my girl friend in 8th grade was in my science class only but she was a okay runner , i have a question who are better runners us or girls?

That's because it was gym class. Atheltic competitions are different and are almost always gender-specific.

At my middle school the girls and guys always ran separate!!

why cant girls and boys run together it would be funner

umm are you kidding? or are you a err i forget the term lol someone help me out
