<p>I'm thinking about transferring somewhere in my home state of CA, preferably a liberal arts or small school but any school is fine. I currently go to the University of Washington. I have a 2.5 gpa (the only classes I didnt get above a 3.0 were science classes) and plan on majoring in english. Any advice on where I could transfer to?</p>

<p>How many credits do you have? Your GPA is pretty weak for transfer to most schools. If you can (as in you’re don’t have too many credits), you’re best bet is to consider staying at your current school or going to a CCC to build your GPA up.</p>

<p>Money isnt really a big problem for me. Would colleges take into consideration extracurriculars, special cases, how well I can write, how well I’ve done in english classes, etc over overall gpa though?</p>
