advice plox?!

In my preparation of applying to Cornell, I have had one major concern. I am still undecided on what I want to major in and what college to apply to. I mean, I have an idea......but the problem is that I am perfectly happy majoring in several different things. Here's my list:

Engineering (Mechanical/ indi. major in Aeronautics?)

Mathematics

Physics

My gut feeling is to just go into engineering, but I have a genuine interest in cosmology as well(which falls under math and physics). So that means COE or CAS......... I'm not worried about which field will better prepare me for a career. I just want study something I like.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could decide upon a major/ college? Thanks.

I would suggest going into CoE. A) It’s easier to get in than CAS. B) It’s easy to transfer from CoE to CAS, but sometimes not the other way around. Don’t forget you will be taking tons of outside science/engineering courses in engineering.

You can easily supplement an engineering education with other advanced sciences. It’s hard to supplement a liberal arts education with advanced engineering.
