Advice to get into TAMS?

Hello guys, this is my first post on CC. I’m a high school freshman right now and I go to Allen High School. I need advice on how to study for the SAT, how to write a good essay, how to build a strong application, and just general advice on TAMS!

So… yeah. Probably have no chance but i still want to try. As you guys can see i am really stepping up my extracurriculars next year. I just found out about TAMS during winter break this school year lol. I didn’t know it existed before then and I only found out cuz of a friend.
Please reply and help me out. Just throw any advice you may have my way. Any comment is appreciated and thanks for reading this large post. =)

Oh also I’m going to be applying early decision and applying to the traditional science.

As someone who recently got accepted to TAMS early decision, my main advice would be to study really hard for your SAT (1500+) especially if you have less awards/extracurriculars. Try to be involved in math and science activities (volunteering, clubs, programs) to show interest and express that in your essay and interview, as those are important as well. Also, it would be important to try to bring up the geometry grade to an A. Overall, I don’t think it’s incredibly difficult to get in, so you should be fine
