Advice

Hey everyone, I'm look for some adivice and opinions from you guys in regards to me transferring. Currently I am a freshman at Arizona State University, and will have 29 Credits completed by the end of this Spring Semester. I want to go to law school after I receive and undergrad degree, preferable in Boston (ideally BC or BU law school). My GPA for the fall semester was 3.98, and I decided that I should probably transfer to a more well-known college that has a better reputation than ASU. So far I've applied to Ohio State University, University of Michigan Ann Arbor, University of Miami, and the Barrett Honors College here at ASU. I've been accepted to OSU and the Barrett Honors College, rejected from UMich, and haven't heard back from UMiami. I'm aware that in the law school admissions process they take into account where you received your undergrad degree and my question is whether or not I should transfer to OSU or UMiami (if i get in), or if I should stay at ASU and graduate from the Honors program here?

Thanks in advance for your time and advice.

OSU is generally not considered a top school, maybe better than ASU but certainly not on par with Ann Arbor.

When I said "top" I meant tier 1 as opposed to ASU who is tier 3.

howd you get rejected from ann arbor, you seem like such a good student.

yeah, it's strange you got rejected at UMich with a 3.98 from Honors College.

I actually don't think any of your three choices would be better or worse than the others.
I suppose you may want to look at UMiami just because if you don't get into Boston Law school(?) then umiami law school might take you because they have a preference for their own undergrads.

However, I again still can't believe you got rejected from UMich- that would have been great for you! I think you should reapply for spring transfer to Umich (deadline nov I think) and try to find out what was wrong in your app so you don't do it again. good luck!
