I'm still a freshman in high school so I haven't and wont worry myself about this too much.
But next year, I'm a sophomore so that's like a year away from junior year which i hear is a total hellhole. I don't want to be completely clueless when the time actually comes to choose colleges.
Any advice to get into an ivy league would be SPLENDID (:
Harvard is definitely a major goal of mine but i don't think that Brown or Yale is too bad either :]

I’m pretty sure at this point, all you’ll be told to do is get off this site (for your own health/academics/sanity/social life).

Just keep your grades up, pursue something you love, and make the most out of high school.

I agree with Fairy_dreams. I am a Harvard mom, I would tell you to get to the top of your class, get involved in your school/community, be a student leader, dig out your potential, pursue your passion and we talk in 2 years.

Fixating on one particular school is understandable but a dangerous game. Harvard took 7% my daughter’s year and I truly believe at least 80% of rejected were equally qualified and would do just as well if they were accepted. But there were just so many seats…
It was none of these students’ fault.
