Hello,
Is it possible to double major in Literature and Physics with a minor in Mathematics at Stanford? If yes, how practical/doable is it in terms of efforts and time-commitment it entails? I know it depends on the individual, but in general, do you think someone can take the above mentioned courses and do well in all three?

Really???
I

I’m an alum, not a current student or professor, but I’ll try to answer you. I think Stanford is one of the few schools where this would actually be possible. Very difficult, but possible. Mathematics would have a lot of overlap with Physics in terms of the math, so a minor wouldn’t be too much. Being on a quarter system does give you the opportunity for more classes, and if you really want to overload yourself with 18 units a quarter, you can do it. It may take more than 4 years. Another thing that many Stanford undergrads do (myself included) is do co-term, where you start your masters while still an undergrad, and you finish with both. The question of can someone take all of the above and do well? Sure, some can, and some can’t. Depends on the individual.
