Which advising program is good? They all sound pretty good to me. What was your experience?

I highly recommend Perspectives or Explorations, since your orientation leaders would be upperclassmen teaching you a (very easy, minimal-work-involved) class during the semester, which definitely helps in the transition to Tufts. Plus, the courses are usually really interesting and fun!

But on the flip side, if none of the classes sound interesting to you, sign up for a Host Advisor and register for classes that are captivating.

That said, I signed up for Perspectives, made a bunch of friends in the class, and eventually dropped it b/c I wasn't interested in the topic. I'm living off campus this year with one of the guys from the group, and I know a lot of people who are still very close friends with people from their advising groups.

I didn't click at all with more than one person from my advising group and my Perspectives teachers sucked. I'd still say do Perspectives or Explorations, and just drop the class if you don't like it.
