Aeronautical engineering or astro.engineering

I need to transfer from community college. I'm still a freshman and was looking to ASU, daniel webster, embry riddle, oklahoma. I would like to work for NASA or Boeing and help engineer new aircraft or spacecrafts for the future because I LOVE aviation. My gPA right now is a 3.0 and im still in remedial math and never even took physics or chemistry. Also, ima GED student

IMHO, you shouldn’t make a distinction between the two at this level. Most schools these days will combine both into an “aerospace” engineering undergrad degree. Each field is a very small subsidy, thus don’t focus on which you should concentrate on as an undergrad or you will just limit yourself.

You have other things to worry about first… like getting into a program. Your stats will make it a bit tough.

will i still be able to transfer?

how hard is it to find a job for NASA or Boeing?

would it be best to dual major in mechanical and aerospace? since they are so closely related? then go back for m masters in astro or aeronautical engineering? i wish to work for NASA

I think that experienced folks will tell you that Aerospace is a subset of Mechanical Engineering. In fact, several schools offer AE as an option within the ME B.S. program.
