African-American students at CMU?

<p>CMU claims it is very diverse, but being an AA myself I wanted to know if there is a noticeable number of AA's at CMU.</p>

<p>Yeah, CMU is about 8% African American. There is a representation in a lot of majors all across. I had 3 live on my floor freshmen year, out of about 35, so that’s on par with the percentages.</p>
