<p>Did anyone else apply for this? They said winners would be notified within a week of the deadline which was April 5th. (I applied for the $2000 drawing one, which means very little liklihood of winning, but oh well!)</p>

Due to the number of entries received, AFSA can only notify winners.</p>
<p>AFSA will contact each winner by email and phone within seven (7) business days of contest end-date, using contact information given by the entrant during application process. Winners have ten (10) days from date email is sent/phone message is left to respond and verify they meet the eligibility requirements as defined on the scholarship contest Web site</p>
<p>I applied and I really hope that I get it, but I’m not that lucky. Crap!</p>
<p>My DD applied hopefully they post the winners?</p>
<p>The only problem is they don’t post winners until May… but April 12th is two days away and I’m thinking they’ve probably already notified winners because a computer algorithm can pick the winners in all of a millisecond… but I’ll hold out hope for two more days.</p>
