After all, I still don’t know where to apply

Hey, what’s going on everybody?

I’m a dual U.S citizen who did my high school in Middle East (where high school curriculum and academic structure is waay different than U.S high school) and dropped out to start my early college and got my Associates of Arts degree this May. I’m 20, consider myself a mature (enough) person and very extroverted who enjoys helping people and the community around me (I’m an ENFJ if you know about MBTI test) I solo backpacked around Europe last summer to find the meaning of my life and had some leadership positions here and there. I care about the weather, didn’t enjoy east coast weather much. Just got rejected from my ED school. I enjoy philosophy a lot and thinking about studying econ/business but still not sure. Something in me calls me to consider politics, but I feel that’s just a dust-in-soul job (i know it’s not always like this, but, anyways)

I don’t know. I don’t know where to apply, I don’t know even how competitive I am for the high ranked universities. My high school GPA is 19/20 and 3.644 in my early college (with distinction). I’m not a perfectionist, but I want to achieve big in my life, very big. I feel out of the dissection when high schoolers talk about their APs or how many hours they did community servis. I just had a different path. Not to brag about myself at all by any means, but I hardly find a person who I can have a meaningful conversation with.

I hope you know enough about me now, thank you for your time. I am open to any thoughts and suggestions. Please let me know what do you think what school is a right fit for me, what should I do with my academic life and college selection. Once again, thank you so much for your feedback and thoughts in advance.

Stay positive, test negative.

Columbia school of general studies.

An Ivy, low acceptance rate, why Columbia tho?

Check it out - it just sounds as if it ticks a number of your boxes, and I believe the acceptance rate is rather different from the college of arts and sciences.
(East Coast weather, though, sorry!)
Edited to add in fact it’s apparently 35%.

You may be considered as a transfer student because of your studies completed past the high school curriculum. You need to contact the schools and ask if you will be eligible for freshman admission, or as a transfer student.

^^^^ This. You need to find out if you are considered a transfer or a freshman applicant. Don’t be surprised if different places put you into different categories. Just send the application that they want.

As a US applicant, your aid chances are a lot better and your admissions chances are somewhat better than for a truly international applicant. Do make certain that you let the places on your list know that you are a US citizen educated abroad so that your application is read by people familiar with the system you were educated in.

Where did you complete your Early College program? If it was in the US, the College Placement/Transfer Advisor at that program should be able to help you devise your application list. If it was outside the US, the counselors at the AMIDEAST or EducationUSA office in the country where you were educated should be able to tell you where students similar to you have been accepted in recent years.

What was your ED choice, and why? That might help us come up with suggestions.

Interesting. How did you get 35%?
