After being accepted...the real visits. (Advice on how to choose)

I think its more common to visit schools in junior year to decide where to apply.

I figured it made more sense to apply first, then visit the schools to decide which to go to (to avoid attachment which could lead to heartbreak after being rejected)

(Also some schools offer weekends where they fly out students and pay for everything for them to stay and visit the school, so they can really immerse themselves in campus culture etc)

I wanted to ask what might be the best approach to take on these visits, how to make the most out of them and decide where you want to spend the next 4 years of your life.

Happykid just finished two solid weeks of flying all over the place to visit grad schools that had accepted her. She sat on classes, visited with faculty members in the departments, toured the campuses, had lunch or dinner with current students, and walked around in the cities where the universities were located. She knew pretty quickly which were bad fits, OK fits, and the perfect fit. I expect you will too.

Enjoy the visits!
