Some schools (Princeton and Stanford) require submission of the common app and supplement for the match round. Does this mean that our common app essays are set after that?

It only gives us about a month between QB submission and common app + supplement submission. Can we resubmit the common app with different essays for RD?

I’m going to try to figure out your question.

You have to send the common application by November the first for questbridge, it is not sent together with the Questbridge application. There will be a separate section for each school you list for their supplement applications, while the common ap will be used for all schools you wish to apply for. Also after finishing the common ap you can resend it to the colleges (ex. RD round).

They sometimes encourage recycling of essays, but you will sometimes have to complete more writing sections for each university’s supplement

Yes, since they require the common app and their supplements in November you should still be working on your college application EVEN AFTER you complete your QuestBridge application :)

Thanks for the responses. I think workNplay understood my question.

So, even after we submit the common app in November for match, we can submit a different common app for RD?

You can submit Common App to one school, and then change afterwards for submission to another school. The Common App has what’s called an “alternate version” system.

Here’s some information on that:https://www.commonapp.org/CommonApp/Docs/AlternateVersionTechnologyFAQ.pdf
