<p>will your classes and grades affect your chances after the midyear report??also, my counselor talked to me about dropping one of my classes so that my average would be high enough for a certain scholarship...but would colleges take that the wrong way and rescind acceptance because those classes would no longer be on my final transcripts</p>
<p>you're supposed to send in a final transcript at the end of the year. if there are DRAMATIC changes, that might be an issue. However, i doubt dropping a certain class will hinder you greatly. as long as you keep yourself challenged with other activities inside/outside of school...lowering your courseload ought to be forgiveable.</p>
