Which Ivy-Leagues are you looking at in particular? I'd say based on these stats Harvard, Yale, and Princeton are probably out of the question. I don't want to sound rude or anything, but it's just the simple truth considering most applicants have 2250+, 4.0, and many unique ECs and still get rejected.

With that being said, I think you might have a chance at some of the other Ivies and maybe even some other top schools. Just make sure you get that SAT score up, and write an amazing essay.

A hook is something that sets a person apart from the rest of the crowd. An example would be you winning a prestigious national contest, or getting your research published in a magazine. It could also be anything unique about you...like if you emigrated from a poor foreign country and struggled for quite a while, or if you have a three generation legacy. It's really just anything that the adcoms will look twice on.
