- public school, low income
- commutes 3 hours to school everyday
- very selective school (only 60 ppl accepted)
- best public school in canada for math and science tops
- live 20 min away from china town
GPA: Grade 11 - 96%
Grade 10 - 90%
Grade 9 - 85%
top 2% of class</p>

<p>Courses: AP Calculus BC - 5
taking AP Physics C, AP English
- taking the hardest courses, along with tops courses
SAT 1: Reasoning 680, Math 800, Writing 700
SAT 2: Math 1 770, Math 2 800, Literature 680
ECS:
- Tutoring at Library,
- President of school chess club, vice president of math club
- Volunteer at hospital and organization for Autistic Children
- Part time chess teacher - worked for 6 years
- Summer job - systems engineer, working with aircraft safety certification
- about 300 hours of community service
- 1st place at Canada Wide Virtual Science Fair
- Scholarship from U of T
- Chinese professionals of Canada Award<br>
- principal cellist at chinese youth orchestra
- member of york symphony orchestra

People make it sound like you need to cure cancer to get into an Ivy.
Which may be true.</p>

<p>..meet aliens (without being a farmer in the middle of a corn field)
..cure AIDS completely
..or, be a Mozart of the 21st century</p>
