Ahhh panic panic panic

I just chose the Jefferson scholarship over the Cornelius Vanderbilt scholarship and I'm starting to freak out because I want to do neuroscience and pre-med. Somebody validate me, quick!

Hooooooooooooo are you? A HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

This song should cool your nerves and get your pelvis moving:

Lol thanks uvaorbust. I hope I get a chance to meet you on campus. Not in a stalker way, but like a fan meeting a celebrity.

:D 10char…

Majoring in neuroscience is actually a horrible idea, you chose wisely. Neuroscience is SO limited that you basically force yourself into grad school. Majoring in biology is probably just as worse, maybe a little better, but the idea still stands.

DardyJoe and UVAorBust- I have really enjoyed and learned from both your posts Dardy-congrats on the Jefferson!!! And for what its worth i think you made the right choice-the opportunities offered by the Jefferson program are unparalled.
My daughter was an alternate for the finalist spot in our region and she was hoping for a chance to go compete. No such luck and we are heading down for DOTL this weekend (monday 11th). She did however get the Johnson Scholarship from Wash and Lee but wants to check out UVA becasue it seems to “fit” her better-especially after reading both yours and UVAor Bust’s posts. So thank you for excellent insight and entertainment!

Congratulations to your daughter for the W&L Johnson Scholars program. Very impressive! As you know each school has wonderful qualities, best of luck to her as she makes her decision.

Thank you-they are both very different schools from what i hear! She is also considering BC honors and Vandy-but i am thinking this weekend at UVA will seal the deal!
I have to be honest she became most excited about UVA after her Jefferson interview, she was so impressed with the 5-6 UVA alumni who interviewed her- they were so articulate and poised and the school spirit they still maintained, after graduation, was very apparent. She felt very comfortable with them. If DOTL exhibits any of those great qualities she saw in the alumni then…well i dont want to jinx it but…im hopeful!
