Ahhhhhh!!!

i have an interview on tuesday. and my interviewer is a plastic surgeon and i wanna be a doctor haha so its so perfect. but idk what to say. any suggestions? what should i ask about other than academics? LMAO. i had 2 other interviews before this: a yale on campus one with a student who was really friendly and outgoing and nice; a uchicago one with a really old rabbi who wouldnt stop talking and was reallllly nice. both of those went really well i think, i wound up learning alot about both schools despite having not asked many questions. the princeton guy...well based on his phonecall and email...he doesnt use alot of words and seems really quiet and right to the point. sooo...any suggestions, i'm nervous. princeton is my dream school

OMG i'm in the same boat as you almost. My interview is on Friday. The person seems really nice, but I'm so scared. I would just see what kind of questions he will ask you, because when I was talking with my person on the phone, he asked me questions like why I like Princeton and stuff. You'll probably also talk about other interests besides being a doctor, too, so make sure you know WHY you like the things you do. I wanna be a doctor too, but I'm using Chemistry as a starting off point, because Princeton has a good science undergrad program, and yada yada yada. The person you talked to sounds similar to the person I talked to. Do you happen to live in Orange County? Cus if you do, then that would be funny. Anywho, just relax and be yourself. o yeah, and for the dress code, I am a guy, so I was thinking about wearing a suit and my pink tie, but I don't want to look like an idiot. maybe something a little different is good. lol I have no idea if my advice is good or not but I hope this helps. and by the way, I'm really nervous too, and after I hung up the phone with him, I ran around the house trying to get rid of the nervous energy lol. okay i'm done now. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I'm actually from Long Island, NY. I'm also gonna be a Chemistry major. My interview went well surprisingly. I wore a casual black top and nice pants, I almost wore a dress but i thought that would be overdoing it..plus its freezing out here. I was nervous at first cuz the guy just kept attacking me with questions like "why do you like princeton" etc. but then i started to ask him questions and he would tell me about his experience at princeton.. i think i felt more comfortable after we started talking like normal ppl and not interviewer/interviewee. haha. good luck on your interview. thanks for your advice =)
