Besides loans and entrance scholarships, is there much aid for students wanting to study outside of the US for all 3-4 years? Preferably in grants and not loans? So far, I have only seen a few scholarships advertised which are those for stellar students (I am not one) or students from developing countries. I'm an American and am interested in applying to schools in Ireland, the UK, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. Or are international students expected to pay the full fee almost everywhere? Thanks everyone!

LOL…I’m looking forward to some of the posts here.

Americans typically have to pay full freight when they go to school abroad.

Frankly, if you want to go to school abroad, it’s probably a lot cheaper to go to school here in the US, and do a study abroad program thru your US school.

There are a number of incoming scholarships offered by the New Zealand government for undergrad degrees for both 3 and 4 year courses. Most are a straight grant through there are some fee scholarships through each university.
