Just a bit curious, now that you have received their financial aid packages, are you happy with the support Rice is providing?

I got in ID and Rice's package was technically the best I received. However, Chicago and Georgetown were close enough that I think the difference is pretty negligible in the long run (around $1500).

Well, I got my financial aid from UPenn and the Expected Parent Contribution for UPenn and Rice are about the same, but for the student portion, Upenn expects me to pay $3,720, while Rice expects $12,536?!? Is there usually that much difference between colleges? I thought it would be a little more stable. And this kinda sucks 'cause I really want to go to Rice.

Northwestern gave me huge loans. 30K a year, but not grants. Rice isn't giving me anything!!
