<p>What's AIME and how do you apply/get into it?</p>

<p>It's the American Invitational Math Examination. You have to qualify via the AMC-12 or AMC-10, which should be offered at your school in February I believe.</p>

<p>you can also qualify via the AHSME. you must test into it.</p>

<p>I think you can qualify also if you get a certain number of points from the USAMTS. Im not sure though.</p>

<p>If i take the amc next year, is it early enought 2 report scores 2 colleges?</p>

<p>It depends on what round you are applying. It's not early enough for ED/EA. You'll get the scores back around March.</p>

<p>Can I take this test as a sophmore? Because i'll have completed my Pre-cal by then.</p>

<p>It doesn't test any material beyond pre-calc, so you certainly can.</p>
