Air Force Health Professions Scholarship Program

Has any pre-med on here had experience with this program or looked into this program? I am looking for ways to fund medical school and this seemed like something interesting. I understand there's a commitment to service with the Air Force involved and that this is somewhat competitive. Can anybody offer insight into this? Thanks!

May not have everything you’re looking for, but this was the first link on Google and it sounds about right to me.

TLDR; lrn2google…

Our neighbor did the army program for dental school (graduated this year), and D’s good friend is doing the army program for med school (currently in her 2nd year). It’s a great way to do it!

I know a few people doing this for clinical psychology and some people who are serving their commitment; everyone seems to like it, and no one seems to regret their decision. What kind of insight were you looking for?

Thanks everyone!

@juillet, I was just looking for some insider information from people who have done it or people who know of people who have done it. You can’t trust everything on a government site! haha I’m just considering it but I heard that it’s difficult to get into the right residency.
