Akward Akward moment

So someone found out that I post here, and I couldn't really deny it. amg halp. They don't know who I am, but could find out easily :O

How does he or she know that you post on here then?

I saw someone else, who was like “You post on CC, don’t you?” and I couldn’t be like “umm, what is that?” because that would be a blatant lie

Things got awkward quickly
On the plus side, they were from the pre-AOM era, so they don’t know me

Someone just spontaneously came up to you and asked you if you posted on here without knowing who you are?

That’s odd.

I don’t think that you should worry about it though.

Well, they know who you are now

I’ve always been the “accuser” (though I do it here, not in real life) so I don’t know. Not embarrassing though. Ask them what their username is.

Yeah, they probably won’t want you to find out theirs, so they’ll probably avoid pressing the issue.

(Yea I didn’t think a possessive case of a verb could be more possessive.

I also thought it should be: “they probably won’t you finding theirs out”

idk AGH SATs)

Yea one time back in freshman year, I called someone out. That was awkward for both. He denied it though. So I sort of learned to not do it anymore. But like Warts, I wonder why someone would ask you a question like that? 0.o

I believe the proper spelling is “awkward”, awkward.

Oh, now I know who you are Cela

^^I think that that was intentional.

So? It’s a message board. There millions of forums and millions more who post on them. I guarantee you the people who make fun of others for posting on them have a forum that they themselves go to too.

It’s as ubiquitous as… I don’t even know. Squirrels on college campuses?

At least you’re a college student, so when you describe your school, there’s more students at the school for the person to find you. If you were in HS and you talked specifically about your HS and somebody realised you had CC, they’d be able to find you more easily.
So CC appears to be a guilty pleasure?

^ haha very much so :b

haha it was just so unexpected. They don’t seem to care as much as I do, interestingly. I’m much easier to find, however, than a lot of people at the same time, so who knows what will occur!

QwertyKey you rascal, putting innocent CC addicts in awkward situations!

Brown has 6,000 undergrads. Large High Schools have 5,000. Not a huge difference.

Thats funny. It would be worse if it was your mom! You should have just said, no, whats CC? I would have probably said no, but then you could ask them what their nick is and …well you know :)

^^I’ve never even heard of a high school with more than 2,000 students

EDIT: that’s because the largest high school in my state is barely over 2,000 kids. Huh. We have small schools around here, I guess. 5,000 students in a high school sounds obscenely large to me.

My HS has more than 2000 students. I know a hs with 4000 students.

My high school was a little under 2,500. It was one of the smaller schools in the district. Not that 2,500 is a small school - it’s just not particularly large.

lol the largest in my state has 1200 students

I’m pretty easy to find on here, since, as far as I know, I’m the only Mainer on here from Brown '14 >_>
haha
