Alas, rejected

Well, I am officially a University of Chicago class of 2010 reject. I knew this was coming, but it still sucks. Honestly, I don't feel good about myself for "trying". I feel like I naively wasted resources. This letter comes 11 months after I started my UChicago pursuit on my campus visit July like 7th or something

Dear (Blaze991),

I appreciate your continued interest in the U of C..and thus feel all the more sorry to say that Chicago will be unable to offer you admission from the waitiling list. We thank you for your interest and for your patience.

Our inability to offer you a place in the class of 2010 is Chicago's loss. We can only wish you the best of luck at the school you will attend.

I should remind you that if you still wish to think about attending the University of Chicago, we admit 70 or so transfer students each year. Check our website for information.

yours truly,
ted oneil

That means that I should be getting one soon as well. W/e mabye transfer admissions will be better!!!

you're not alone.

it feels good to know i'm not the only one, though.

and at least they were nice enough about it.

Sorry to hear this - it was not a good year to be on Chicago's waitlist. Best wishes in moving forward and on to your selected schools.

Could you tell us your stats?

I'm sorry!
