Filling out FAFSA now. Alimony payments ended in early 2020, so my current (and future) income is significantly lower than 2019. Is there a way to indicate that on the FAFSA, so they don’t overestimate my expected family contribution?

No, you can’t indicate this on FAFSA. You will need to contact the school to find out how to request a special circumstances review (professional judgment).
