i'm sure you've heard of this before. so is this true or untrue? but my deeper question is this. What enabled this idea to be born? Meaning, what reason gave rise to this statement.

Im gay, and as a gay guy, ive gotta say....Im pretty hot. Well, that sounds like im full of myself. My looks are def on the top end of the spectrum...except when i get breakouts, but all kids get them. So yes, gay guys are better. I always feel ugly though bc guys have such high standards! its annoying really. I find girls hit on me more than guys.

and im not really gay, im sorta bi. Im attracted to girls, but guys usually win out.

my original pregunta wasn't answered

Dont get technical with me! you prolly hate all gay people to get that tone with me. youre a bigot. If you want to get technical, your original pregunta was answered senor. You asked if it was true. That was your first question. Well, I answered it. It is true. Im sorry that youre straight and ugly.

lol wdf? i seriously laughed when i read that. i didn't intend to be 'technical' or come off hard. i dont hate gay people at all. and how can you determine the 'tone' of my posting when you couldn't even hear my voice buddy. words (unless capitalized) cannot truly reflect a poster's tone. you have to hear it in person. in any event, it wasn't an attack. now what gave rise to this statement; in other words, what connotation or rule has enabled the phrase "all good looking men are gay"

Generally speaking, guys tend to put much stock on appearance when trying to find a mate, so when you put the guy-guy combination together, you get two appearance-oriented people. Needless to say, the stereotype is nothing but a gross exaggeration, as I'm sure you know. However, there are SO many of them who get caught up in the culture of striving to be muscular. This trend is propagated by magazines like DNA who cater to the gay male. Btw, the guy on this front cover is one of the the best-looking guys out there (no nudity here!): http://www.parisianboys.com/article-4953256.html . Girls, don't you agree?!

whether or not someone is "good-looking" is definitely subjective. to some people, maybe most of the good-looking guys are straight. it all depends on what people find attractive.

speaking in absolutes (i.e. "all good-looking men are gay") is never a good idea. saying that means that there aren't any good looking straight men, and i'm sure every one of us have seen awesome-looking straight guys.

NOT true!! and i'm a girl.

I think a better phrase might be "all gay men are good-looking." The reason is that there is quite obviously a massive amount of straight men who are good-looking. I mean, I'm living proof, yo.

The truth is that gay men -- openly gay men, anyway, who are open members of the gay community -- tend to know how to take care of themselves in terms of physical appearance, clothing, etc. They have good style and fashion sense.

i think it may also be a case of you want most what you can't have. Here are guys that girls, no matter what they do, cannot get. To some girls at least, this probably makes them more attractive.
