Who here would want an iPod cc app?

I…if I had an iPod that has apps…

Nay. Like, what’s the point? iTouch already goes online to CC as long as you have WiFi.

I use CC all the time on my G1. Same concept, why use an app?

Dudeee the CC formatting on the iphone SUCKS and there’s no option to view the regular site format like you can for facebook. I stand in favor.

… not that I go on CC on my phone a lot or anything…

^Do you mean the yellowish formatting?

And nice save…

^ I mean like ALL the formatting, it just all around sucks. It’s like all blocky and crappy.

There was a thread on this somewhere. The mods (the techie ones) created a new CC format for iPhones/Touches.

It used to look exactly like CC, but the one now is supposed to be easier to navigate.

No it’s actually harder to navigate that the actual cc. You can’t see when the latest post was or who the OP/last poster were from the main board (you actually have to go into the thread and look), the margins are mad thin so it’s like reading 4 words in every line, and you can’t zoom in.

Yea, the thing that bugged me the most was that I couldn’t see who the OP/last poster was.

On the iTouch you can zoom in and it’s easier to read. Also, there’s no annoying sidebar (the left side with ads) that takes up half the screen. That’s my idealistic memory anyway, I haven’t been on my iTouch for months.

Most people were in favor of the new change. Maybe you can protest or something. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/community-forum-issues/816198-new-better-mobile-browsing-cc.html?highlight=iPhone

^ That’s so 2009

Psh. Everyone loves a good necro or two.

I want a CC iPhone app! It’ll keep me entertained during class. The actual CC website itself sucks on the iPhone safari browser (like everyone else mentioned).

I actually don’t see how it’d be any different than the one they already have on Safari.

Hmph. I guess CC and iPods just weren’t meant to be. :(

Browsing CC on my Nexus one is fine.

so I guess not many people are in favor?
= /endthread? :O

Posting off G1 now. The only downside is that you can’t quote. And yeah I agree that not being able to view the original site is a bit of a pain. That and terrible spelling lol.
