<p>Id like to start this thread for all students looking towards SMU.</p>
<p>I just got provisionally accepted to SMU for Bachelors in Economics . What Id like to ask is how do we know that we have got accepted to the dual degree programme .
To duongnt - What were the details of the letter ? Can you post it for us to read?</p>

SMU said they had 7700 applicants.........i cant even see 7</p>
<p>This is from SMU's letter:
"The Scholarship Committee can assess your application for scholarship only after the closing of the application when we receive all the application for the year. Therefore, we will keep you informed of the application outcome in May."</p>
<p>so have you also got provisional admission only ?
Whats the take on accomodation on duongnt?</p>

<p>May is when we will get notifications about scholarships. </p>
<p>Mine is not provisional because I've already had my high school qualification.</p>

<p>But do you think SMU's admission is really competitive ? Some say SMU is the least competive uni in Sing, some say it's the most hard to get in (the only one to require SAT and interview and essay :D).</p>
<p>hey ppl!!....well....i already know....th ppl...here...nehow....no kinda letters for me...but hayden i am tellignus tuff frm a person whose already thru smu last yr..and if u got thru admission..the double degree will be given only aftr they see ur class 12 results....duongnt..u already have ur high skool results...:o...how cum??...</p>

When they mention that only 1 in 9 applicants was successful , it shows that the university has tough admission standards........thats what i hope.........they also said that 1 in 6 got selected for Econ........what are ur numbers in the letter?</p>

<p>In my letter it was 1 in 7 got in for ISM major.</p>
<p>i see lots of students taking BBM</p>
<p>not many taking eco?</p>
<p>I just got accepted into College of Wooster.....theyre askin for $17,550 after aid.......still too much</p>
