<p>hey guys the thing is. i talked to an UCI admissions officer face to face yesterday after my 2:00 pm tour. she confirmed to me and my dad that rejections are not coming in one wave towards the end of the month, and the longer wait does not equal less chance of getting in. this has me puzzled...</p>
<p>Yeah, UCI has basically lost most (if not all) its appeal for me. This is absurd. People have been waiting for so long. I've heard some people were accepted way back in February. If that's the case, then it seems really unfair that UCI admits some students before reviewing all of their applicants. I mean, it kinda feels like they got tired of looking at applications and are just rejecting everyone, or their spots are filled for freshmen year in fall '08.</p>
<p>So with deepfriedeggroll's adcom confirmation, this has got to be a mess-up of some sort. :</p>

<p>man i think this is some elaborate april fools joke. UC's have to notify us by april 1st. so this is our notification. but when the mail comes on april 1st itll be "JUST KIDDING YOU GOT ADMITTED"</p>

<p>man this really sucks. I really hate this right now. This huge wave of only rejections comes right at the end of the month. If I was rejected, they should've told me earlier so I would have more time to think about other colleges and about sending my appeal in early to get a reply early. UCI is just messed up and I really hope there is some sort of error because this is really hard on everyone right now.</p>
