Wondering if anyone is applying to Alma College? My D is accepted there and they are doing a good incentive job of encouraging her to make them her final choice. She is interested in vocal music/music ed, but also possibly international studies.

It'd be interesting to say, "My alma mater is Alma."

or...Alma my alma mater

I'm a senior at Alma College and love it. I'm double majoring in Spanish and Communications, while minoring in Art & Design. I'm active in Greek life, many campus organizations, and an RA in the dorms. If you or your child have any questions about the school, programs, student life, just send me a message.

And, we do find it funny that our alma mater is Alma College. :)

I've heard good things about it. :)

Bumping this--Alma offers a guaranteed full tuition NMF scholarship and looks to be decent academically. Anyone visited, anecdotes to share?

I had offers to swim there and they do offer a sweet deal for NMF's... I was there to speak with the swim coach once for something unrelated and I really didn't think it was that bad. I hadn't actually heard of Alma before they contacted me and didn't take their offer very seriously but after I went and looked I was pretty shocked at how nice it was and how happy all the students sounded. They have Greek like and good parties. I'd definitely suggest taking a look if you have any interest, as it might make you have even more!... and that scholarship can be a very nice incentive.
