I haven’t been posting on College Confidential very long (and hope to quit eventually) but I’ve noticed some names keep appearing such as vicissitudes, UCLAri, anon5524485, BeatChick, punkdudeus, and berkeleyLATINA.

Sometimes I try to paint a picture of what these posters are like in real life. What if BerkeleyLATINA is actually a caucasian wannabe? What if anon5524485, BeatChick, and punkdudeus were all straight-edge conservative Christians? What if vicissitudes and UCLAri never went to college at all and are, in fact, old men who enjoy sharing their sage advice?

Just food for thought, if that. Who knows what the moniker “Kultur Wolf” and the posts listed under this name imply? (Kultur Wolf is my real name, though the spelling is changed.)

congrats,…THAT is the beauty of CONFIDENTIALITY in the forums…you may never know if vicissitudes, UCLAri, anon5524485, BeatChick, punkdudeus, or berkeleyLATINA are sitting next to you in a class at Cal or live as hermits in the Appalachians, LOL. BTW, berkeleyLatina is an incoming freshman who is not even a Cal student yet. And, guess what? I am also an incoming freshman. So, some of the most recurring names are from students like me who have many questions. Check out Azure####'s posts/threads. There’re plenty of them and the posters is also an incoming freshman. Keep that in mind.

L-H, then you'll love the prof living in Unit 1 (if he's still there next year) who is into Buddhism and has meditation workshops. I'm not really into organized anything, but I thought doing some meditation might be chill, since I'm prone to anxiety attacks and I did listen to David Lynch talk about this stuff earlier this year. Thought his whole idea was pretty tight.

Interesting. Since I actually know punk I find that portrayal of him absolutely hilarious. Thank you for giving me such a precious gift-the gift of laughter.

How EVER did you know that I'm a Caucasian wannabe from a city that is 99.8% Latino?
I find it interesting that "my name keeps appearing" when this is in fact, only my 7th post, LOL

I'm pretty sure UCLAri went to UCLA and is now a grad student at UCSD...as for myself I won't comment. ;)

I've actually met a few people from CC; all pretty nice and not very different from their..."CC personalities".

Anyway, there have been attempts on this forum in the past to have "CC meetings" but those have failed miserably. I wouldn't mind another attempt during welcome week or something.

oh yea during finals i was walking thru the main stacks and i saw an indian guy reading something on college confidential. which one are youu???!! hahaha:p
