(Almost) Self-Studying AP Physics B

Alright, so this year I was faced between taking Physics C with a very difficult teacher at my magnet program or taking Physics B and getting my feet wet with a toned-down teacher at a neighboring campus. I chose the latter since I have a full IB schedule already (school doesn't offer SL Physics), and I've now realized the class isn't challenging at all because the student body is significantly weaker, which means the class will be limited to more basic concepts. Is there a great review/textbook I can use to learn the course on my own? I was looking more into Barrons, but I've never had experience with the brand.

Yeah, Barron’s will give you a thorough review. It’s generally harder than other test prep books but that is a benefit in my eyes. Physics B shouldn’t be too hard to self-study, since most of it will be memorizing formulas and manipulating problems to apply those formulas. It’s all algebra-based so you won’t have to “derive” any formulas - at least not using calculus concepts.
