already?!

wow there's already one?!

Obviously!

There isn't really a Class of 2011 until March 29th, but okay, whatever floats your boat moderators/admins. :)

There are APPLICANTS for the Class of 2011, though. :<. So is this our thread?

I guess so.... I've seen that UCLA has sent out decisions (at least that's what some have reported on this site) - when does Berkeley send them out?

decisions??

Yeah!!! Maybe I misread it for predictions... But that's what I saw here. Anyone with info?

just itching til march

Cal is the last UC to send out admission results (very end of March).

actually, UCLA is. Cal's Admission notification is March 29th and UCLA's is on April 1st. UCLA changed theirs to a later date because of the new holistic admissions process.

AHH THREE MONTHS MORE (almost)

so we have to wait till then? None are done earlier. How do you all do this?

Do they just post or send an email. My daughter got invited to a science deal in March but it said right away that this did not mean that she was in blah blah blah.....We are wondering if we should go or not? any views?

The University will allow you to check admissions decissions online (usually its the day before they say it is...well thats how it was the last two years). About a week later, a letter will arrive via USPS.

THe visit to Science is just like a giant advertisement for the university.

I would suggest going if you, well, more importantly, your student, are not familiar with the campus because a lot of the decision should be based on how a student feels on the campus.

Be sure to go up the Campanille (2$ a person, but pretty amazing). I suggest spending some time on Sproul and just walking around to look at the architecture a buildings.

Those who were given the Regent's invite can breath a sigh of relief.

YAY for the regents' invite!!!!!! go cal class of '11!!!

I didn't get Regent's invite. :( Au contraire, I got a damn questionnaire!

atleast you got somethinggg lhDCpage06! anyway i was reading this post about ucberkeley and this person was literally ranting on and on about how big and fugly it is. i really want to go to berkeley but that gave me second thoughts.i guess its just an opinion and everyone has one, but this one was damn strong .anyway so i was wondering? this is the general sentiment ?is cal really that bad or scary?
p.s you reagants people are SO lucky:(

It depends. If you're not used to urban city area, you might find it a bit intimidating at first. I didn't particularly fall in love with the campus, but its agreeable. Then again, Berkeley is the only big/top school I actually visited.

I do not agree that we regents ppl were selected b/c of LUCK.

cal WHERE are you!!!?:(
