Alrighty What are the best for Chem, Math2, and US

Hey what are the best study books for these tests??

I'm kinda nervous... o and also ACT because i've never studied and I only come up wtih a freaking 29...so ya

o ya and is the REAL ACT book good, or is PR better?

real act fo sho

Chem: depends on what you need. I knew most of the stuff, but would just make some silly errors. For this reason, I used something similiar to the Xiggi method to study, and just needed tons of practice tests. Therefore, I used the Barron's books (5 test) and the sparknotes online tests (3 of them).

Math2: Didn't study, but I hear Barron's is the best.

US: Read APUSH books I'm guessing...

I used Spark Notes Just Tests! for the Math2c, I just did a couple tests and reviewed what I didn't understand [the topics that i completely didn't know how to do]. I felt that the tests were a little bit easier than the actual, but overall - a good quick review of everything, and a good pointer to what needed to be reviewed. (This is exactly what the book said it should be used for as well.) Just btw, I got a 800 after doing about 4 of them.

*Although, i'm decent at mathematics, and knew/learned most of the stuff on math2c from a good teacher in school recently. Therefore, if you're decent at math (get A's in Honors math, understand trig concepts pretty well) then just review. If not, then maybe look into doing Barron's if you have the time, and don't get discouraged easily. I tried barron's at first, but the test just blew me away and discouraged me, so I went for Spark Notes.

gl with it.

i didn't really study much for these tests but i thought barrons was good for math iic and chemistry; both were slightly harder than the real test (well maybe a lot harder for iic) but were not totally off in terms of content review and types of questions in their practice sections. however for us history i think the best book is sparknotes, as the tests were imo very accurate and the content review was excellent.

Yeah, Sparknotes and barron's. A very useful combination...

I did well with Kaplan Practice Tests from the SAT Subject Test: Chemistry book (predicted my exact score).
For US, I studied for the AP and just winged the SAT II; however, I heard people say that REA for the AP gives you more than enough info for the SAT.
