alumnet

I know the college of human ecology has alumnet, which is the database for alumni in order for students to connect with alumni for career and job questions. Where can I find the MAIN one for the entire school? The main Cornell alumnet?

go to alumni.cornell.edu....they have all sorts of useful links for us alumni

I am not an alumni
I would like to contact alumni

Any Cornell student can sign up for the Alumni Directory. Alumni Affairs actually considers any student who ever enrolls at Cornell to be an 'alum'.

Unless you get expelled, I believe.

i think each college handles it's own alumni affairs...and reports to 1 alumni affairs office...

what information would you like? you're not privy to that info...i think what they do is alert the alum that you are interested in talking to them, and then they'll call you...not the other way around

I heard there are TWO alumnets... one for each college and one MAIN one for the entire school

yes...but you cant just have people's information...

The Online Directory is specifically designed for official university, Cornell Alumni Federation and recognized alumni organization use and also for individual communication of a personal nature between the alumni listed herein.

I understand that
If alumni want students to contact them, they put their information in the database if they choose to do so
where is that database?

Alright, so I was wrong. There is an alumnet through the career services interface. If you drop in an email to career services they will have no trouble showing you what's what.
